My Quick Launch icons reset to alphabetical order at every Shut down, Restart, Log off, or Explorer restart.
Folders in alphabetical order at top. Shortcuts in alphabetical order below.
Anyone got an idea of how to stop this?

There can be several reasons, of course, but usually the reason is only damaged Windows and it does not save the positions of the icons.
Generally, sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and also Reset Windows do not help if you want to use Keep my file and settings. Only a new complete and clean installation of Windows with reinstallation of programs will help. You can only use "keep your files" but not settings.
The commands sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth usually do not show any errors or problems in this case.
This problem will not go away on its own, but will worsen every day and you will experience more and more things that are not as they should be.

Yeah, that's probably what I figured. I just wiped the SSD and reloaded the system using Dell's restore USB drive.
After Dell Command update stopped running I was on the October update 19045.6456 and had all the Dell software updated to the latest. I am now backing up everything to try a repair install with an 10.0.19045.6546 ISO. Everything was fine until Dell software popped up and wanted to optimize the system. Well, it actually unoptimized the system. I just installed this system a few days ago.
Wont let that run again. All DISM commands show no errors as does SFC and Sysnatives Components scanner.
