Need a bios dump of a Medion MD96370 / WIM2170 Notebook

    Hi there,

    I'm new to this forum and I hope I post this thread in the correct forum...

    I got a Medion MD96370 / WIM 2170 Notebook with dead bios. Crisis Recovery is possible I think (access on USB-Floppy when FN+ESC is pressed during power-up).
    BUT I do not have the correct bios-file I think. Is there anybody out there who owns this type of notebook and who can make a dump of his own bios?

    Hi Berni ,

    Please go to this link medion.com/de/service/download/treiber.php?highmain=3&highsub=1

    At the Volltextsuche Textbox under Trieber Download Box, type in " WIM 2170 " and a pop up driver windows should appear.

    Click the down arrow button to download under the "BIOS UPDATE" and you should be prompt to save the executable bios file named " biowim2140_50_70_80_90.exe".

    medion bios fix

    hi could you fix your bios? please exlain procedure. what was problem? my notebook does not show anything on screen. is it a bad bios too?
