How did you try to install the BIOS on the chip? Basically the file I prepared is the complete 8MB dump of CakeWalk + IPI13 ~3MB from the Aopen website. (I only changed the Intel ME 7 that is fresh, and my MAC Address) You can do the same thing by dumping your BIOS and entering IPI13 with the HxD tool on lines 580000 to 800000. (On my dump BIOS you can copy and paste to yours, it's a fresh image too) The computer takes about 10 minutes to start. You need to use a programmer, i recommend CH341A Programmer with NeoProgrammer. (I was using i5-2550M SandyBridge and upgraded to I3-3320M IvyBridge, IPI13 is the only version that contains microcode of Ivy) A BIOS has many things and it is an Intel Image that contains: Description Region (Show compatible chips here) GbE Region (Mac Address is here) ME Region (It's Intel ME image) BIOS Region (It's IPI13 image) Padding (It's just to make the chip with the right size, it contains a lot of hexadecimal "FF". It finishes on line 800000 of my chip) UEFITool NE should help you to see and manage the BIN.
Didn't you accidentally notice that you respond to a post that was relevant almost 2 years ago, Mar 17, 2022?
I do, but someone will do it in the future and figure out how to upgrade Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge on this motherboard.
