Hi I will be getting a HP G61-320 laptop however I would like to downgrade it to winxp sp3. I do not have HP oem windows xp sp3 disc 1. can I convert my DELL oem windows xp sp3 disc to HP? If yes what is the procedure? 2. Or can I just convert the DELL oem windows xp sp3 to universal oem disc by using OEMScan v1.3 RVM Integrator Addons or OEMScan - Automated Multi Manufacture Pre-Activation Utility method using command line. Please advice since i am new to this. Thanks.
you do not need the .sif file for auto activating..but you will have to input the serial and other thinks as prompted. OEMBIOS files can be changed on the disk to suit whatever OEM you have...it is that easy!!!(just use the compressed files for the disc)
