Situation: I've got 25 computers all neatly hidden away so only the monitor, keyboard and mouse is visible, and thus making the power button unavailable. The idea is to have them all go to hibernation via a server and then wake up with a Wake-on-Lan call via the server as well. Problem: The network cards all support the WOL-function, but the BIOS only support WOM/Ring (Wake-on-Modem). It is an integrated network card into the motherboard, so it would be logical that the BIOS would support the WOL-function as well (maybe i'm off here). Question is, if a BIOS upgrade would do the trick? and if so, if anyone know where to get it? Motherboard is a: GeForce6100PM-M2 BIOS is a: Phoenix - Award Workstation BIOS v6.00PG I've been searching for ages, but think i'm at the point where i can't see the forest for the trees. Any help would be appreciated.
