I have a Gateway GWTN116-1GR with a 64GB emmc drive that does not have windows on it. The person who gave it to me tried to remove Windows 10 S Mode by formatting the HDD and now I can't reinstall windows. I tried to install windows with a USB, but I never got past the windows logo. Is there a way I can get this little machine running?
Oh my, I wasnt aware Acer purchased this gateway crap in 2007...to challenge lenovo. @_@ Yet alone that its Shenzens Bmorn behind it...good luck removing the eMMC and installing Windows on it from another device. :S
Just getting back to this topic. There's no m.2 slot in this system. Simply the emmc which is a pain. I finally got past the windows logo, but now when I try to install windows the emmc drive is not listed. I have formatted and cleaned the drive with diskpart, but still no luck.
