If you have a bona fide windows 7 installation dvd and serial, you will not have any issues except msft's constant nagging to install win 10... YOU can remove win 10 updates via the great information on this web site...
When simplix was used msie11 plus all required updates for pré msie11 and post msie11 would be installed. Installing MSIE11 thru WU can and most probably will give you troubles.
oh is that so? if so then i guess i'm all good I just checked the version of my IE and its in ver 11 already.
I don't know how Audit mode (I'm such a n00b ) Can you point me to any easy-to-follow guide/tutorial/instructions, I would love to learn this.
- After using the simplix updatepack - install win 7 in vmware using a physical drive - At OOBE start audit mode (CTRL+SHIFT+F3) - Update (for example: dotnet461 + lp + updates, silverlight, defender update and MRT) - Generalize/start OOBE and shutdown - Capture the drive/partition on dedicated drive (i use abbodi1406's winscript.ini for the exclusions)

I had to learn it by trial and error and info from technet But you can do it as i did, use vmware and go nuts playing with it
i just got this free windows 10 update, i thought simplix already blocked WU that involves windows 10 upgrade? is this okay?
