Hi, Sorry to ask this question again. I don't have any experience with W7 integration and need some advice please. I downloaded Solor's UpdatePacks. I really appreciate other developers' efforts in creating integrator tools too. Now I'm gonna integrate Solor's pack to DVD but I'm wondering which application should I use, preferably integration under XP host if possible. 7Customizer? rt7lite? Mr Jinje's work? GeorgeKing's update.exe? I don't mean any offense but from what I've read so far in here and msfn: Only RT7Lite is in development atm. 7Customizer doesn't integrate cab files, RT7lite image could have problem creating a working image too. That's why I hesitate which way to go. I don't want to tweak W7 options or remove components, just a basic integration would suffice. So how do you integrate updatepacks? Sorry for long post and thank you in advance P.S. It'll be great if we have a sticky thread about W7 updates integration procedure till a mature solution like nLite for XP becomes available.
7Customizer works on XP with some tweaking, Mr Jinjes might work and im not sure bout the rest. 7C integrates *.cab files but only language packs. 7Lite is now in 1.1 RC which seems to be working pretty good, if you trust the guys using it hehe. A mature solution IS RT 7Lite. If you can create a guide on integrating updates and whatever it might be a sticky.
Thanks for your prompt reply. For 7C, I extracted imagex/oscdimg/Dism from WAIK3 (W7), dunno if another registry tweak is necessary. But I guess I should have imagex for Vista. I'm on a real slow connection to download WAIK for Vista. What else do I need for that tweak?
