As I said, when trying to install the files "dotNetFx35_W8_x86.exe" and "dotNetFx35_W8_x64.exe", I received the error message 0x800F081F. When trying to install the Internet through Windows itself, I get the error 0x800F0906.
first open cmd as admin, then type the following command Code: dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:netfx3 /source:"%windir%\WinSxS" /limitaccess wait untill command completes (You may need a restart).
Like I said, I also tried this command, but I receive the error message 0x800f081f. I could not install from the command line, neither through of the installer from here My Digital Life, and not by Windows itself. I think it could not install because my Windows 8 is not in English, we used a Language Pack.
Same issue here. That command does nothing. Everything was fine. Did a clean install of Windows 8 and now this doesn't work. Sucks because this was the only package I could find that would install this and make certain games run on Windows 8 (Batman Arkham Asylum/City and Resident Evil 5...etc). Thinking maybe a recent Microsoft update is keeping this from working correctly?
I'm also having the same problem. I have a client who wants to play League of Legends but the game needs. NET 3.5 to run. I guess I can not install because my Windows is not in English, it seems that it has received a Language Pack. Just do not know how to uninstall this Language Pack because it is Windows 8 Single Language. I'll try to install the Language Pack to translate it to English and then back to the Portuguese. I do not believe that Microsoft is doing this.
In PCBeta many people found that if they installed TS360(a popular AV in China), then it is impossible to install .net3.5 either on-line or offline, I guess some softwares might cause this problem, maybe try to uninstall all suspicious apps or reset windows, then install them back after install .net3.5.
actually it can be done the easiest way that works is this command as administrator: Code: DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:E:\sources\sxs just replace E: with the drive letter that has the dvd or mounted ISO cheers
I heard that even if you install it with cmd, it still need to be on-line because the process needs to verify with MS server on completion.
