Probably you have 4GB of superseded updates as well. try Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase Pay attention, after that command you can't uninstall any older update
It's even stranger, since i cleaned up, "Windows update cleanup" has totally disappeared from disk cleanup
^^ yep same here now I see my c: properties and after run cleandisk same 3,99TB lol is more strange because I use Dism++ and it cleanup only 407MB and now who is correct anyway I can made the "normal process" using cleandisk from Windows althought is very slow
I had the opposite odd phenomenon of System Restore Points showing as being 10Mb. Nothing beats the effectiveness and accuracy of XP in displaying file size. Under W10 you can't even see directly the size of folders, as has already been discussed.
@Katz yep I agree but unfortunately Windows XP (& Windows 7 too) only remain in our hearts this "new O.S. " very loaded with improved features etc etc is all that we are looking around the world a lot de bsod's, craps... never more one simple DESKTOP is made for smartphones they forget sense of true desktop P.S. off topic Katz I like very much your new avatar
Thanks to everyone who replied. @T-S: I ran the dism command and that seems to have straightened everything out. At this point, I don't care about uninstalling any updates, since I was already planning to back up my files and do a clean install once the Christmas holidays have passed.
