    Hi

You can flash from windows, but that is more risky - both generally and for modified BIOSes - you are always safest doing it from DOS.

You can make a BIOS with both a SLIC table and SLP strings. A BIOS can only hold one SLIC table. It can have multiple SLP strings. Just create one text file with the combined string eg. (without quotes) 'Dell ComputerASUS_FLASH'.

This tool doesn't seem to work with any Gigabyte motherboards (for AMD cpu). I have tried BIOS for a few motherboards and always get the message "AMIBIOS Core Version Not Supported"

Well.. if this is the only kind of bug reports that are left, I'm happy :D:D It could be clearer though, I will update it in the final version.

The notebooks from MSI already have a MSI SLIC/SLP. Why would you try adding ASUS???

    911medic,

Your modded bios appears different than the slictool modded bios with 'ignore checksum and module 80h errors' and do an SSV2 mod. Can I ask what tools/steps you used?

    thanks

    MMtool and a hex editor.

The steps are the SSv2 manual mod with the adjustments for MSI specific bios. There is a thread with basic instructions..

I did a XFX 8200 bios for a buddy. It only had SSV2 as a option. But, it worked 100% none the less. :)
