    quick one

    Hi do i need to use the ROM of the bios, or will it work fine with the bios being a BIN?

    can i use Asus as manifacturer and hp (or other) as slic and cert?
    This may give issues to activation?

    I also Modded mine with the AMI tool, I cannot get it to register still. Did my SLIC 2.1 mod not take? Here is a screenshot from Everest. Thanks!

    Hi,

    I am trying to mod my acer bios to have slic2.1 using the AMI tool v1.28 but its not working. the bios already has slic2.0 and when i mod the bios its says successfull.
    Once i flash the bios and check in acpiscope, rw everything, and everest, it doesnot show any slic table , instead OEMS table is shown . Only default options were selected in advanced tab and the mod type choosen was dynamic . can anybody please help on the same
