New AMI BIOS tool for performing SSV2/3 and Dynamic SLIC Modification

    Hi,
    tried to mod a Asrock P4V88 BIOS-Ver 1.80.
    I only get a bootblock checksum error.

    Can someone tell me when i need to use this option when i need to mod a bios for someone.

    Once only ever in the whole time the tool has been out. Provided it works without it, you don't need it!!

    Intel motherboards with ami bios

    Anyone knows if the tool will handle INTEL motherboards that do have AMI bios?

    yep, but you'll need to use intel2ami to extract the rom

    Thanks, so where do I get that tool? It seems I better do not buy that motherboard and ask for an ASUS.................

    Phrunt, thanks ! Found the rest and instructions.........................I may go back to my supplier and insist on ASUS. I do not want to end with a crack loader or so...........I do not like this.

    I've had good success with intel2ami along with Andy's tool
