Hi Unfortunately due to the way the tool is written, this is quite difficult. Particularly with differing sizes. I will look in time, I have another (work) project that is keeping me busy currently. Andy
Andy, Ok then what do you suggest as a suitable bios string, and I think It would be a good idea that the patcher reports that it could not intergrate the string and maybe suggest an alternative (obviously you have some tables internally that know where to look ito insert strings).. If I hit verify it comes back Ok, obviously it isnt ok...
Hi Andy, there is no SLIC in resulting BIOS. I tried with default settings and also with NVRAM, bootblock and module option. The log always says "SLIC performed successfully", but after flashing the SLIC ToolKit v3.2 gives me "Dump Error ! (SLIC Table Not Found ! )" message.
My question is what distro did they use and what mach_kernel patch did they use? I have tried Hazard with test7 mach_kernel. I get this beautiful error: "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\" ossue with ioplatformexpert.cpp People have resolved this with a bios patch. Here's my specs: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive MSI N95GT-MD512Z GeForce 9500 GT 512MB MSI 790FX-GD70 AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB DDR3 RAM Any info/help would be great.
