    Did you repair it?
I have no HP engineer around :(
Method No 1 is not working. Does anyone try another one?
I bought this box really cheap but I love it and don't whant to brick it.

Only was to replace the motherboard .. the AMI BIOS recovery stuff didn't work .. e.g 2MB flash onto a 1.44MB floppy .. never gonna happen .. anyway I am asking the HP engineer to see if there are any utils online at HP for motherboard related stuff .. e.g. changing the serial number .. since mine is now an empty value

The recovery Methods can also work with a Bootable USB or CD.

Yeah, confirm that AMI Recovery Methods can work with a bootable USB stick. My case it work with mini-DOS from Crisis and the only AMIBOOT.ROM file.

IS there any new AMI tool for latest 1155 socket boards?

    Mr.Andy,
Is there any AMI Tool for the new 1155 socket boards from Asus and MSI.
Most of them are using UEFI Bios. The bios file size itself is 4.00MB.
