    Hi.

I have problem with BIOS from MSI 760GM-P33.

I have AMI SLIC Mod v1.62, SLIC file 2.1 Alienware and SLP file Alienware. I chose my BIOS and have question:

    ---------------------------
    Information
    ---------------------------
This BIOS has already had a Dummy SLIC (2.0) table (MSI OEMSLIC ) inserted in the F0 module. Allow modification?
    ---------------------------

Clicked "Yes" and program chose "Dynamic" method. I can't select SSV2. Next chose SLIC ans SLP file and clicked "Go":
"SLIC performed successfully." So I clicked "Verify", chose alienware cert and have:

    ---------------------------
    Information
    ---------------------------
Existing SLIC ( ) does NOT match certificate

    Alienware[ALWARE-ALIENWRE-LTP]2.1.BIN matches certificate
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    Why? :(

    Hello !
It seems I got slight trouble with AMItool performing mod on my latest BIOS.
Upon opening it in AMItool, I get error: Failed to extract 1B module.
    Any resolution?

Beautiful nickname (in Czech language) :welcome: , but the fault really is in the resident shield antivirus software.

That's strange. I really am using no realtime AV. I was able to perform mod on previous BIOS with older AMItool build.

Thank U. After several attempts it finished with success. But in some cases I got the failed to extract module error either upon BIOS load or during modding phase.

I have made a mod and it seems to work fine, having one question though:

Why is the intermediate step necessary? I didn't apply the original BIOS at all just direct flashing moded BIOS over previous BIOS. It seems to work fine, however I'd like to know if I can expect some problems in the future? And yet another question, this moded BIOS wasnot accepted by builtin EasyFlash flasher, while previous version was. Is there any changes in latest AMItool made that make the BIOSmod someway nonstandard? I'm quite sure I have made the previous mod by some older version of AMItool.
