Thanks you, I thought that only modified DMI, since formerly activate Windows XP by modifying only the DMI with software of a user of this forum, and I thought that Windows 7 was the same.

But I have another question ... where it says "Certificate" with amitool software, should I choose? in amitool163.zip not contains "Certificate"

    Regards.

Certificate part is optional; its not needed for bios modding.

I've done the mod with amitool163, I chose "SSV3", since I have a motherboard ASUS AMI, I chose the "SLP", "SLIC", and I've given "Go". And was terminated without any error. Is it safe to flash now? Or is there any chance that the file is corrupt and error to flash me, and leave the computer unusable?

ASUS is usually most safe for modding. Just flash from a dos bootable pen drive using AFUDOS.

    Hi Tito,
I would try to mod an ASUS A6Q00K bios, but I didn't found any for it on ASUS site, cause there are only A6K family,
    but not this one specified.
What do U think about to do a backup from the notebook by Aphlash2.exe and than modify this one ?
If I can do it, can I post it to U to get it modified, so I am sure to not brick my notebook ?
It's my second time I wrote to U to get help, excuse me to disturb, but only U can do it !
    Many thanks anyway.

Hey, Tito, Where I download AFUDOS?? :)

And, after flash, what must I do to have activated windows? I need a specific serial? or something else I have to do after installing Windows?
