Tito, I went to flash, and says "BIOS not support AFU" or something. It not supports AFUDOS, right? I need another way to flash.

Or maybe it means that my BIOS does not support this version of afudos? 8.x.x

NOW flashed!! : D Thank you, Tito. Now I use the Windows Download Integrator to make one .ISO Personalized with certificate and serial and pre-installed, to auto-install check anything else, right? It is a good idea.

    Greetings!

    Hello everybody
I am in a need of help. I bricked my asus G73Jw laptop by doing bios update. I"CTRL-Home"didn't work so I had to SPI program the chip. I dissoldered the chip however I've lost it even before I could read the content for backup. so I ordered the new empty chip, I finally found someone's full copy of that's person's bios (firmware section + system section) on the internet and SPI programmed the chip. All great and the system now is alive again, but as you already imagine windows 7 doesn't recognize this bios and gives the "not genuine copy of Windows". Can someone help me, or is there a way to regain the original bios ID number or do anything so windows recognizes it. of course this is stupid as Windows copy is original OEM. Thanks

Tito, can I help you enough ? few months on it and so much pain and now it works 99%. why not 100 %, because when I say to turn off the laptop, the windows shuts down, screen goes black but the fans are still turning. I need to unplug the power to shut it down completely. Almost there ...

It is working now !!! everything !!!
Tito, I also need to disable Hyperthreading as the programs I run sometimes make the system crash. I was able able to unhide the hidden options with AMIBCP 4.53 and disable HTT, can I do the same same with your file ? or is there a better way to unhide than with AMIBCP (and turning everything to "user") ?

Tito or anybody in the know, I have 2 questions:

    1) everything works great except 1 thing, the fans are turning at max speed. the temperature showing at the ACPI THRM (using temp1 in speedfan application) is stuck at 97C which is not possible as the system is cold. Is there others that have the same problem ? I tried many things but the the ACPI THRM temperature reading is always wrong, but all others sensing temperatures are working fine

    2) is there a way to program BIOS fully, what I mean by this from address 0x00 to address 3FFFFF ? the bios is divided into 2 section, first is the bootlock section (or firmware) starting at 0x00 to 0x1FFFFF (2 MB) and the second system section from 0x20000 to 0x3FFFFF (also 2 MB). when using flash2.exe from asus we can program only the second section. Does anybody know if using AFUDOS is possible to program wherever we want in the bios chip by choosing the starting address and ending address ?

Is there a way to be able to open 13500.rom (extracted from Hyper-V vmwp.exe) with mmtool2.exe ?
(it was possible with rom from VPC 2007)

Obviously this rom is missing some info that makes any tool not being able to deal with it

Image Info Module(80h) is not found

    Thanks

    sebus
