You must have .NET Framework 2.0 installed.

Specifically, is it in the same directory as the BIOS you are modding??

    Andy

PS - I appreciate it would be more intuitive to have it in the tool directory.... I will change the code to do this...... in the meantime try the above.

    Hi All,

    Please find new version.

    v0.17

FIX: Failure if DUMMY.ROM not in BIOS directory
FIX: Further improvements to main module size adjustment code

Should fix the problems described above.

    Cheers,
    Andy

The tool and the bios were in separate folders . both of them in the desktop but each one of them in separate folders. But that is history anyways because your new version v0.17 is working ok . I just tried it and got a succesfull slic next step is flashing . I will let you know if flashed ok. Thanks a lot for this WONDERFULL TOOL.

I checked it and you're right-- the original bios has valid Asus slic key/marker modules so no mod is necessary!

    Code:
                  ******** P1AH2_0404.BIN BIOS component ********

     No. Item-Name Original-Size Compressed-Size Original-File-Name

Most current bioses have an FF byte after the system module instead of a checksum byte, so you don't have to worry about that "error".

I wonder if BB in the module names is for Barebone.

Thanks, very good mod tool, I have a question can this tool works with other manufacturers that ay not included by adding new slics and text files with new OEM ID
I mod one for see how it works with "success" but if I tried to verify after "invalid checksum".I haven't tested yet.

The invalid checksum is nothing to worry about, and will occur with newer Award bios.

Do you have the .bin file and matching real certificate for such OEM that you want to add?
