I haven't done a manual mod for about 6 months to a year now, I just rely on the tool's as 99% of mod's I've done with them have worked perfectly. I wouldn't even have a clue how to do some of the mod methods currently in practice.

The ISA modded BIOS did not work. Thanks for your time and help anyway Busykid!

911medic, after your comment I decided to try OEM7 with acpitbl at end - it works! Will post modded BIOS in Win 7 request thread.

    Thanks!

Experience is key to using the tools effectively *arrogance*..LOL..certainly with the really PITA bios files...:D:D

I am glad to help you....:D:D

Posting the feedback would be most helpful, I think many of the mods we have done to these, that worked, have not made it to the working thread....

It has been posted. Hopefully it'll work for the other who have been struggling with this as well.

BTW: “It's only arrogance if you're wrong”

For the OEM7 I get the error "cannot write ACPI module".

Also if you look at the dropdown menu, there seems to be a bug? See attachment

For ISA I get (log - There are no ISA modules), then a popup of "Cannot shrink ISA module"

    Thanks

    Epox EP-8RDA+ AWARD

    Tried the v1.25 tool

As I sought to use the dynamic method
fails at NO SLIC Table found

Does this work with dynamic method or is the app
    expecting further settings?

    Apologies if post appears flippant
Does appear to work with 0+2

    Thanks

Dynamic only works if there is already a SLIC table or a dummy SLIC table in the BIOS.

Just a thought..... are you running this from c:\program files ..... if so try running it from c:\temp or similar...... it seems writing is the problem and certainly win7 x64 is very fussy in this respect.

    Hi.

    Your Tool is fantastic.

The content of RSDT,Pubkey,Marker and Checksum are OK.
But there is no content of XSDT in the new Biosfile. Why?
Is this a feature for future?

    Best regards

    Hi Andy or everyone,
Can you upload the new version of the tools on rapidshare or hotfile, megaupload or any ftp links, coz mediafire and sendspace are currently blacklisted in china.. Thanks...
