File NoJuan, thanks but the file you gave me is .BIN and Aflash says cannot read the file. The one my motherboard uses is a non .bin file. Mine is an ASUS P4B533UAY from 2002 and the Bios is June 8 2002 AWARD. Not sure what the drama is then
Yours must be an OEM MB. ASUS doesn't list a P4B533UAY. Models listed on ASUS Support Site: P4B533, P4B533-E, P4B533-M, P4B533-V, P4B533-VM, P4B533-X What Make/Model PC is it from ? PS The original Bios Name was 1015.awd
Modle NoJuan, gracias, thanks. A Chinese guy made it for me in 2002. INTEL 845E Chipset Socket 478 Pentium IV 2.4Ghz CPU DDR AGP 4 4Mb Flash Award Bios CHIPSETS USED AS BELOW: Intel 82845E MCH Intel 82801 DB ICH4
NoJuan-SiJuan................................mystery resolved........................... For reasons that I do not know.........hence biosnoidea....................all what was needed was to rename the file "1015" WITH NO DOT EXTENSIONS OF ANY KIND ! Period................. Does not like .AWD or .BIN just a name...........the hint was given when I backed up the original and saw no extensions so I had nothing to loose since I could have gone to the original one. Everest confirms presence of SLIC.
Andy, Sorry 4 asking such silly questions... If u don't mind pls lemme knw how does the win 7 retail activation work? I am searching for SLIC 2.1 for my Gigabyte Mobo - GA890 GPA UD3H. If possible pls help me out with the SLIC 2.1 + Cert. + Key n Award Tool. Many Thanks
Hi, there are two revisions of that Gigabyte Mobo one is REV 1.0 and the other REV 2.0 so before you attempt anything you need to determine this first.Let me know I am happy to try to mod the precise one and upload it to you with more instructions if this helps
Ok, give a couple of days. Had dramas with my machine and needed to re do it last night. Hard job. Not sure if the mini KMS server for Office 2010 is not a Trojan but my machine was totally taken......................
Dear Andy, I have to raise this question again. I have bios with agesa 3.7.0.0 and separately agesa 3.7.0.1. the agesa modules are different in size. replacing the module in hex and removing zeros in other places (I tried 6 times in 6 different places-1 removing per time) to keep the filesize won't work. the bios became buggy (not all RAM was detected and some hdd drives disapperared) or didn't work at all. please, help me.
