Well I didn't read your message before I already did test it and it did brik my BIOS as well.... did reset the BIOS, many times but nothing helps it keeps re-booting.... if I remove memory it beeps but not normal post with memory and video card installed I have only 1 set of memory.... so I could not test with more memory types.... but corsair dominator... it worked fine until I did flash the bios... but some how the F4D BIOS has been removed from the euro site now F4 is there only no more F4D.... kind of odd... Ah well just have the bord for less than a day will try to return it as DOA and otherwise sent it go gigabyte directly....
Why are people using Dell SLIC and not Gigabyte ? on Gigabyte motherboards i know it shouldn't really matter but wouldn't it be better.
Well personally I prefer Dell, SLIC because than if u want u can also install Windows 2008 R2 Server and get it activated.... haven't found such keys from Gigabyte to do so...
OEM:SLP keys have no relationship with SLIC-table vendor name, and only require an appropriate certificate.
That is true but what if microsoft makes a checker sooner or later which checks if there is Dell SLIC in the BIOS with a Dell key and certificate..... that is atleast for me the reason to keep all the same... U never know what they will do to outsmart us....
