BIOS displays the message "Loading Operating System"? I had a similar problem with GA-890GPA-UD3H rev.1, BIOS F7. Mode 0+2 and OEM7 (ACPITbl. at end) not display this message - BIOS froze. Mode FACS works great. The situation is very different in GA-890FXA-UD5/FACS where BIOS writes: "Loading Operating System" and start Windows, but within 1-2 seconds freeze. Describe the situation more accurately.
I restart, do not set defaults because after flashing i always get bios with defaults and therefore must doing all setting after every flash. When bios going thru post, at end has be message "Loading operating system" and starting boot. I get only screen blinking. Thanks.
So the same situation as for GA-890GPA-UD3H rev.1 BIOS F7 mode with 0+2 and OEM7 ACPITbl at end ... But at 890GPA-UD3H with FACS works perfectly.
I have a Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P Motherboard (rev.1). Up to and including the F8 bios SSV3 WORKED. It does not work with F9, F10, or the F11 beta bios. I get the error "There Is NO EPA Module" and it stops. I use default values not only cause they 'once worked' but the rest is over my head. It can work with the ISA method but I don't want a bad flash. I've recovered plenty, and some my luck ran out, but it's something I really have to start avoiding at all cost. Can you help with this? Thanks hkb
The new bios of 770t-ud3p they have no EPA so SSV3 can't work, you can use new awardtool 1.44 and try FACS method it can works very well
Thanks. I'm going to try this. I've been reading through this and another post. Tons of info. But this is an issue that many are finding out about. It kind of raises the question why was the epa removed. I know a lot but the bios no matter how familiar it becomes, still leaves with the 'I know very little' syndrome ... Thanks again, Keith
