Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P Bios up to version 10 succefully patched with award tool 1.47 however bios 11 to 13 fail. Please can you help. Please give me web address where i can post RW of Bios ver 10 View attachment 6936 Thanks Andries
Award Tool v1.47 with SSV3 (ACPITBL at End) method seems working fine on bios f13, no errors ... In the latest bioses, no EPA Logo module.
Everytime i get a error saying "cannot shrink EPA module" (SSV3) "Cannot shrink ggroup module" (FACS) Edit, Seems like it was a problem on my end, sorry about that, didnt work in windows 7 on my netbook but when i switched to xp on netbook it worked fine. Sorry & Thanks
Me too have sometimes problems trying mod Award bioses (errors each time different: cannot shrink Epa Module, cannot write something, cannot read VGA module, ecc.) on my Windows7 system, in another PC with WindowsXP everything works fine.
Hi Andy. Excuse the delay but I was away some days for work. Here is a screenshot of my problem. As you see I can't charge even the original BIOS (which is the first thing you do with the tool) that the Award tools already tells me FAILED. Thanks a lot. Hello.
Solved problem, the new feature FACS works well. Thank you for all your efforts in keeping the bios tools to work on latest bioses.
Is method ISA best for this bios? Shall i use other methods? SSV2/3 or FACS? OEM7 prompt errors. What exactly "BIOS image does not sum to 0" means? Any ways to verify the moded bios?
ISA is a Very Safe Method and should work for you. I have seen that message on many Bios mods that worked perfectly. It is most likely just due to the way the original BIOS was made. I would flash that BIOS and check with SLIC Dump Toolkit and see if it properly added the SLIC 2.1 info. If it doesn't I would try OEm7 (with ACPITBL at End set in Advanced Options).
