    Thanks, the removing of the first 80000Hex (FF) bytes out then modding it did do the SLIC under 1.50.

    The problem I was having was not caused by the BIOS SLIC but the BIOS is not really suitable for release as it causes major problems with the ICH10 which prevent it from booting properly.

    I assumed this was the SLIC mod but on testing, the original did the same. Q-Flash now will not restore the earlier BIOS as it now sees the 1024KB BIOS as the wrong size. Moving the SATA drives from the ICH10 to the G-ATA enabled the system to boot.
