    The "temp" files downloading are named BITxxxx.tmp, so maybe BITS is used after all

    Action Center is the little box icon with lines in it in your notification area of your task bar.

    so do i make a full iso or do i just make a install.wim and then edit my current iso with the new install.wim?

    I would let it build a complete ISO, as it might carry updated setup files in index 1 :g:.

    Any means to get my hands on ESD file and install new build through it. Failed twice in downloading new build with 4 MB connection with around 470 Kbps speed and 2 AM time...

    If you reboot your PC, the start menu should be fixed, personalize on the other hand...

    Yep, start menu is fixed but not also the personalize!
