Hi, I got my new laptop today but it is having issues with its initial setup. For some reason, I select my region, keyboard, skip second keyboard and all those options work fine. When I get to the option of Lets connect you to a network and I try to select NEXT it is grayed out. Does anyone know or experienced this issue and how to solve it? Lenovo had me reset the computer which took 3.5 hours and didnt work, they had me turn off my router and it still isnt working so I am trying here since I am pretty sure you guys might have seen this issue and know what to do. If someone could help me out i would appreciate it. I also tried calling MS but they dont offer phone support for home users. This world is getting sad. TYVM
Are there (w)lan networks available in that screen? ps, did the laptop come with 10 or 11 pre-installed?
if your are referring if I see any on my screen during the next option which is grayed out, there is not. Also, there isnt a skip option. There isnt an ethernet port on this Lenovo ideapad 3 either.
In that window should be your available networks shown, is yours (wifi) shown, and after connecting, the "next" button will be available. Can you please answer the question about the laptop pre-installed OS?
Enthou, If you need a picture of what i see plz let me know and i will provide it for you if that is easier. It will take around 15 mins or so though.
Then you're screwed, this sounds like win 11 Home (sl), what are all the options shown, could you take a photo and show it here?
Does it look like the screens in the videos i published here? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...line-windows-account-on-win-11-home-sl.84109/
the first video is the same but none of the rest is the same. I do not see your options. Just region, keyboard, second key board, then I get to the option of Lets connect you to a network and I try to select NEXT it is grayed out. Sorry, i dont know how to put my video on to MDL or rather it is too large as it is near 75 MB
If the graphics shown resemble what you see on the laptop then it's Win 11 Home (sl) and you can't get past this without at least connecting for a second to any working network.
