00426-OEM-8992662-00400 At least that's what I have, with 2.1 Dell SLIC, Dell cert, and the key ending in P4K27.
I have the same one and im using an Acer cert wit whatever SLIC the loader uses. BTW what SLIC does the loader use?
The loader installed itself superbly. I have all my letters from A to Y taken except B and the loader still managed to drop itself on the system reserved. There were no problems with doing anything. It removed the old one right away too.
If i mod my bios for slic 2.1 and get the original windows 7 RTM OEM and instal it he will ativate automatically? It is better uses the slic 2.1 in the bios or use softs as the 7loader 1.5?
Thats the ID of the serial key, everyone will have this ID on his computer unless they use the Lenovo key.
The new Dell OEM key is everywhere now. See what WGA blog says...if the Dell computers are already mfg'd, it's less likely they'll blacklist this master OEM key I would think...besides eventually all master OEM keys will be known. I suspect MS already has a plan to distinguish genuine slp 2.1 from modded ones if they choose to do so with WGA eventually, for example verifying the motherboard's model number or other fields in DMI...wether or not this is practical has yet to be seen. I was kinda surprised they blacklisted the Lenovo key....so anything is possible I guess.
There's been talk of them doing that since at least Vista... And it's been a common consensus that while they CAN, they most likely WON'T because it would be overstepping their bounds.
If microsoft can do such a verification thing then they would have done it for vista itself..... it could be a hard thing to achieve and hence microsoft not bothering about verifying the slic table!!!
They have not blacklisted it yet. If they did then ALOT of out computers would be unusable. It is just MS BSing to scare us into thinking that crap.
