    or maybe 26
By the way... 8888 isn't divisible by 16, neither by 10... Strange number Microsoft has chosen.

To be honest I think I will aquire Windows 8 and use it.

I've had so much speculation over M$ removing and changing so much it has been a major put off. Recently when using it, it's not so bad with Metro disabled and running a start menu. Plus is always good to be up-to-date.

Hopefully RTM will bring some nice surprises.

8888.16385.win8_rtm.120725-???? makes sense. I don't know what 16385 means, but Windows 7 was 16385 as well, with the 'original' RTM build being 16384. I guess 16384 is a 'check' compile?

    already posted maybe ?..
edit : WZor talking about a build 9200... Joke, rumor, final RTM number? At least 9200 is divisible by 16 and 100, unlike 8888.

According to Canouna and VivaHo, RTM is rather 9200 than 8888.

Indeed... I don't know who to trust :p
    Damn, we'll see in 1 or 2 days what's the real number : 9200 or 8888.
But the strange thing is that WZor says release for Sept 27th, but MS said release on Oct 26th... Very strange.

Canouna says that 9200 is a candidate to RTM gold-code status.
    WZor failed (sorry).
9200 divisible by 16 and 100, completely plausible.

EDIT 7/29 : WZor actually was right... :D Sorry WZor.
    EDIT 7/30 : LMAO 8888 OR 9200 ??? I'm going nuts for this

We had in the news some time ago that Microsoft is dropping the boxed retail version from windows 8.
