newer nvidia driver request

Thanks for helping out. Trying to use signed drivers is apparently not necessary with Testsigning ON

 

Those who are using any of the 474 drivers could you confirm if you're getting Black&White/Grayscale on 8-bit colours modes? I'm using the 474.11 drivers and I'm experiencing this issue.

certificate imported ?

before install driver using add device ?

First inport certificate "ImportCertificate.cmd"

and after nv_disp.inf

WARNING ! BIOS Mode driver are ready to works

WARNING ! UEFI Mode ( SECURE BOOT DISABLED ) driver are ready to works

WARNING ! UEFI with secure BOOT => disable secure Boot

to check if uefi with secure boot are enabled

Open powershell cmd as admin and write Confirm-SecureBootUEFI

 

Certificate was imported before running setup.exe as described on the first post.

to install display driver use device manager and choose nvidia folder and retry

driver are for desktop no mobile !

 

I know! However, I run a desktop card in a laptop with a real x16 lane connection as the only graphics card in the system! Hence my question...

 

yes with this methode you can run if secure boot are disabled

I install either with the Setup.exe or Nvcleanstall! You probably do this with Control Panel or directly with Device Manager?

So if possible, do not use Setup.exe!
Is there a big difference to the other methods?
