Newest AMD CPU or APU supported on Win 8.1

    Like Bat.1 said. The "old stuff is very commonplace" because it is cheaper in price. Not much "new stuff here". An AMD A4/A8 would last me about 10 years. I do not need a dedicated graphics card. An AMD system will run about 220 Dollars. (NEW). My parents have passed away. I do NOT need an SSD. I will not use 10 because it will not run my program. Not because it is slow. You cannot get much slower than a core 2 duo and i am happy with my system.
