8220 definitely isn't it, 8222 is the latest known build from that branch, so that *could* be it but nobody knows for sure.
Does the new Start Screen thumbnail show the real colors of the Tiles or is it just a static icon? Maybe someone can share a better screenshot...
no dude!! Both builds have submitted an application for "main beta", and be able to choose 8220 instead of 8222:]
The only fish I found was in the (broken) browser: Bing.com/?Win8Start=1 And yes, the Start thumbnail is live, not static. It updates with your main colour and tile colours.
I finally have 8220. Plenty of new features, but also plenty of glitches. I bet you all wish the links on the bottom of that page worked...
guys wtf? I'm waiting for the leak too,I can't wait to try it,but if no one leaks it I'm not gonna start asking all day about it! Canouna won't give the build to anyone,if I was in his place I would do the same.We are in february already,and why would he risk loosing his source for nothing? We have all waited untill now,I don't see why we can't wait a couple of weeks... You must remember that Windows 8 is not the last operating system produced by Microsoft,and I'm pretty sure Canouna would like to try the next os after 8,but if he looses his source,he won't be able to. Leave the man alone,if we all start asking about the build,he won't even read the topic anymore,it's just annoying to see everyone asking the same thing from you,knowing you can't give them.
That's not how it works, each candidate build goes to testing, but if it fails then a new candidate build is compiled and tested, and this process goes on until all of the bugs they want fixed for beta are fixed.
Earlier canouna had explained that since MS thought that the beta escrow might pass well over 8200, so they jump 20 numbers to 8220(for the beta branch) - more builds might be expected. Also why cry so hard for a leak? We shall all have the Official Activated Legitimate Full-functional Final Beta Build within this month, it there is a leak, good, if not ........ it's not so long to wait, man.
