Does anyone know the registry edit I need to do to hide the start button in the WDP? I know you can do it!

I want to get used to the fact that there is no start button in Windows 8 :D

Yes,that was what I was refering to: the hash,MD5 and size(to the last byte) of the ISO. I guess people were just too carried away by the "hash in watermark" thing. :biggrin5:

But you don't have the "start thumbnail" to click out the start screen in WDP. :biggrin5:

There are a few who have acted like little kids, but there is only one person in particular that has continually acted like they are a spoiled little boy and I think we all know who that is... I won't say any names. Let's all just patiently wait for a leak and if it doesn't come, hopefully the official Consumer Preview will come on the 20th as rumored. Screenshots and/or videos are welcomed. :)

Does anyone currently "testing" build 8220 or 8222 of Win8 know if you can keep the start screen on one monitor, and desktop on the other?

On the WDP, is it possible to actually uninstall the Metro apps? I don't know if using uninstall on the start screen actually removes them, instead it just hides them am I right?

Only in the Developer Preview is it impossible to reinstall. Once the store is up and running, you can reinstall apps you have previously downloaded, or paid for. Just like Windows Phone!

Try this apply the reg hack and then restart explorer with process explorer or similar no more start button:D.
Btw remove the reg hack before you shutdown windows else you will be left with a black screen and no metro lol.
