I downloaded Windows 7 Build 7000 (Beta) on Christmas day (Dec. 25) 2008 from a torrent I found on TPB. I remember specifically because I was at my parent's house and my kids were wanting to use my parent's PC, but I was downloading the beta and verifying the MD5/SHA-1 hash checksums.
I agree. I think 8220 will turn out to be only a Beta/Consumer Preview candidate build and a slightly modified build 82xx will be released as the official Beta/Consumer Preview, even if that build 82xx is just 8220 with the boot screen updated and a couple of other small changes.
I've been reading a few articles and it seems that MS plans to completely get rid off the Zune experience from Windows 8. I personally hoped that it would be featured as a Metro app. Every time my Mac friends saw Zune they would say it looks way better than iTunes. <br> @canouna, is there any clue on what the music/video experience will really be like??
Beta candidate number 8220? confirmed?. May be no one leaks CP because beta is not confirmed yet officially a wild guess ,canouna can you confirm build number. And thanks for your screen shots ,its awesome
Yeah, we can safely assume that the official Consumer Preview isn't ready as the branding of W8DP is still there.
