Beta: 8200.0.winmain_win8b1.120128-1900 << valid ? 8222.0.winmain_win8beta.120131-1912 << final beta? Final beta most probably 8222.0
As I remember, the 8200 was a prediction from Canouna - WZor that it could be the final beta (false). The 8222 is a candidate, like 8220 and 8225. -- Correct me if I'm wrong
Everybody, the beta build will be 8230, because thats just logical. Don't like it? Neither do I. Am I right? Probably...not, its impossible... Can anyone tell me why?
Until Win8 CP will be officially released don't worget until that date there will be fixed more bugs and build string will change Don't stay at 8220 or 8220 ... Look forward.. Maybe official build will be 8230 or something like that
MS wants clear (approximate?) build numbers? (Remembering that w95 was build 950 and w98 was build 1998. lol - XP was 2600, vista was 6000, w7 7600)
canouna please confirm 8200.0.winmain_win8b1.120128-1900 is a valid build or not, according to your build list first beta candidate compiled like 8220.0.winmain_win8beta.120127-1925 (Beta Candidate), build 8225 is also beta candidate?
But seriously, version 1 It is quite possible that these builds (8220.8222) is a next builds after official beta, works in progress and will continue, version 2 CP = 8220, builds the next they were advancing towards the RC. in my humble opinion, CP is already compiled a long time.
Not sure if it is arrogant, but not exactly super friendly either. Answer was curt . He could have said... "We told you late February and nothing has changed." Oh well...
I hope it gets posted on the MSDN site soon because I cannot handle this distraction... its consuming me whole. I love it.
@arseny92 could it be that they are expecting high traffic? like possible downloads of a certain preview?
