Wonder when technet/msdn will get it and I'm thinking 2/29 is kind of late knowing that WDP expires early in March. MS should take into account that not everyone trips over themselves to download the very first day.
If RTM would be released in June, they maybe would take full advantage of 2012 having a leap second (June 30th, 23:59:60)
I don't think for a minute it will RTM in June. Windows 7 hit RTM in late July 2009 (I remember because I had it within a day or two) and Windows 8 is about 6 weeks or so behind Windows 7's schedule. Therefore, I would guess Windows 8 to hit RTM anywhere from mid-to-late August at the earliest all the way up until maybe late September. That said, late September might be cutting it a bit close for a holiday GA (General Availability) and for the OEMs to have systems ready for holiday sales. So, I think Microsoft will push hard to RTM by late August or early September.
Thnx for the reminder. I hate to be late Ohh and I live in the Netherlands and we have daylightsaving... In spring times goes 1Hr forwards in atumn (??) we go 1hr backwards
I have, with the CLST with summer time (-3h difference with UTC), I don't know the difference with that time...
What's really gonna piss me off is if they release it on the 29th and it was compiled last week or something lol.
^ And what about Spider Solitare? Minesweeper? And as I said like million times here... I wonder if they'll rebuild Paint, Notepad etc. as Metro Apps?
They (or better to say, students interns) already built PaintPlay, InkPad and Notespace in WDP. For Tinker GWFL game - Copper
