It's legit from the fbl_reshackerbs(Jaycee13) branch. Practicall, it's a fake. 1) Install Windows Developer Preview 2) Get the leaked Windows 8 Consumer Preview themes pack from PCBeta. 3) Install reshacker. 4) Edit the file version from WDP setup.exe 5) Rename WDP iso with a legit Windows 8 Consumer Preview filename 6) Make low res pictures. 7) Profit?
I busted out laughing when I read this... Big smile to this as well... Having 3 or 4 systems in my house that I use and/or test with, not only Windows, but Office, etc., TechNet is definitely a great way to go. I'm fairly new around here. What happened to Bob?
profit? what can you get by getting people believe you that you have a win8 build? I mean you can release news or anything cause you don't have a real build.
Maybe if they get it, but I don't think Technet/MSDN scripts are worth what they use to be. Blame it on inflation or that c**ksmuggling, sweater wearing Sinofsky and his locked down development cycle.
I'm relaxed. I'm just saying for those that were around during, say Vista's dev., having an MS subscription was worth more than now. Sinofsky's biggest mistake IMO was equating the perceived fail that was Longhorn's cycle with the openness of the development. Correlation doesn't equal causation though.
@canouna I am just wondering what will happen when Windows 8 consumer preview will be released!! no one will ask you for screen shots any more
There is no mistake. Its all in your imagination. The fact that you demand a leaked build, saids enough. You are just being a whiner and pathetic.
big deal,at some point windows 8 will be released and canouna will have to wait for the next os.He helped us with a lot of infos, but the fact that canouna won't have a "public",is my last concern.
I demand info that I apparently won't get without a build, that's all. But no need to argue about my belief a more open dev is better, the lack of Win8's success in terms of desktop shipments I think will prove my point of Sinofsky's mismanagement.
