    In light of the popularity of Windows 7, I could see Microsoft going with Windows 8 as the official name. Thinking back to the old show "Eight Is Enough" from the late '70s, it would be funny if Microsoft used that slogan "Eight is Enough" for marketing.

    Server ... Windows 8 Server CHECK
    Desktop or Laptop ... Windows 8 CHECK
    Slate or Tablet ... Windows 8 CHECK

    All you need is Windows 8 ... Eight is Enough!

    But seriously, with all of the changes being made to Windows 8, I think a name that acknowledges the advances in Windows would be nice, a name like Windows NextGen, Windows NewGen, Windows NG... something. If Microsoft does go with Windows 8 as the name, I think it is very important that they demonstrate and talk about some of the advances in Windows 8 or many people will think Windows 8 is just more of the same.

    Yeah, it would be really nice to see a Windows 8 leak this weekend to celebrate 2012, but it sounds like a leak might not happen until around CES.
