    What about the Start button? Will it become transparent, or...?

    I remember one of the "Building Windows 8" videos there was a transparent Start button.

    I used to think it was far from done. But now I'm not so sure. If it will go to RTM looking like this I will be severely dissapointed. As it is, it's an inconsistent mish-mash of Vista, 7 and Metro. o_O

    To be fair, during Vista developement there were changes to icons and UI up until RTM. But on the other hand, Windows 7 UI was pretty much already done by beta.
