Thank you , And Microsoft should change old style to complete metro transformation, not only for start screen ,Syncing Explorer etc. compare the style : hxxp://blogs.msdn.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-blogs-components-weblogfiles/00-00-01-29-43-metablogapi/1588.13_2D002D002D00_MoSet_2D00_Sync_5F00_thumb_5F00_2BDEC915.jpg hxxp://blogs.msdn.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-blogs-components-weblogfiles/00-00-01-29-43-metablogapi/6683.4_2D002D002D00_Win_2D00_8_2D00_Orientation_5F00_thumb_5F00_3368265E.jpg Syncing Explorer and explorer never matches. This will be an epic fail,M$ should change old style completely, or keep old style and remove metro. Both never gonna work and it will become an ugly OS for sure.
You can always work to update your Geek Skillz while waiting (in my case, I tackled SLICing my own EFI BIOSes - ASUS in particular). The *art* of SLIC mods pre-EFI seemed rather daunting (and UEFI threatened to make it worse); at least for Windows 7 and earlier, SLIC mods (in most cases) remain (well-educated) user-tacklable. (The sixty-four-cent (US) question will be whether Windows 8 will recognize SLIC 2.1 - it's likely that not all OEMs will have SLIC 3.0 BIOS support across all their hardware - even by the time Windows 8 goes RTM.)
canouna what do you think about metro UI , going to be a big flop or a huge/moderate success . Your personal view?
I predict a train wreck. It will not be successful at desktop users, ARM version will be too late and x86 tablets will be too expensive compared to Android devices.
Actually win8 is supposed to create a new wave. Windows platform will have something that no other platform have, it is the first step in removing segmentation. Just imagine, you are installing an application on your desktop that will automatically be available on your tablet and even more on your phone and all the app data will be sync. That means you will have three different devices for different situations but with same UX. And the tablet market is just at it's beginning, in the near future more and more laptops and desktops will include touchscreens. So win8 is not late maybe just early.
