NP. Ya I just got the rest of the updates and they come no wear near 2 gig's but when it installs I don't know what it weights in at so ya 2 gigs may be right.
Thank you as always. Install/uninstall without a hitch. Only minor problem was my Quicklaunch bar was missing after the reboot, soon fixed by restarting Explorer from Task Manager. Build string (BuildLabEx) pre and post KB2975719... Pre... Post...
All of the 45 updates indicate as important update at my Control Panel. I am installing them with 32% done already.
I am waiting for mine to be completed before having anything to say on your issue. That is if I experience the same problem though.
As far as Windows updates go, for a machine that was last patched in July, I have 385MiB of updates (that's with the 171MiB KB2975719) (if I uncheck the stupid Malicious Software Removal Tool, which isn't a real update, it's 356.6MiB). I think most of you getting the huge updates are including Office 2013. Those updates tend to be huge because Microsoft now updates features in Office 2013 (whereas Office 2010 was strictly bug-fix), which means that they are also touching localization/language files (that previously would be untouched for the entire product lifecycle), and those files are huge. So the Office 2013 updates will substantially distort those figures. The actual Windows components being updated are much smaller.
I installed the 169MB + 1.7MB before official release i just checked and got another 192.4MB of updates that covers everything OS, IE, .net, security, and visual studio.
