First thing first, yes you are right, upgrades further than Windows 9 are unconfirmed rumors now. I would bet seeing how Windows on ARM is free in certain situations it makes little sense to back away from that especially now with ChromeOS/Android. The more likely thing I would suspect is ARM free, x86 has a charge. Going by your analogy, if Midori, whose been reported since 2008, is an unborn child I suppose Windows 365 "parents" haven't even been born then. What we do know is that several sites have discussed these automatic updates. They have all individually checked with their respective sources as noted in their articles. So its either: Zac Bowden [search Winbeta Upcoming Windows 9 Tech Preview set to be updated twice a month with new builds], Tom Warren [search The Verge Windows 9 to include interactive Live Tiles as Microsoft aims to revamp the desktop], Brad Sams [search Neowin rapid release is getting really interesting], Mary Jo Foley [search All About Microsoft Microsoft to deliver Windows 'Threshold' tech preview around late September] who are all wrong OR Chinese PCBeta source [and your friend ] is. So supposedly "not knowing win365 mechanism" is simply false.
No idea what you are trying to say, "free update/upgrade after win9" is different from "auto-update to win9", and what is Midori has to do with win365?
Hey I was not the one to bring Midori into this conversation... Anyways I suppose I should be clearer. The one thing we know for sure about any "Windows 365" is that it would be rolling release schedule like Office 365. So since they are talking about biweekly updates in Windows 9, I think it might be possible they are testing Office 365's rolling release schedule with Windows in the upcoming preview. So when you said Win365 mechanism that was what I was thinking^. These updates were hence confirmed by the various sources I noted earlier.

You're always saying you "don't know anything for sure", but keep posting everything as if it's all factual. You contradict yourself left and right every single time you post anything. In other words, it's okay to intentionally proliferate misinformation and falsely accuse others with trustworthy reputations for being wrong if you're funny and abuse emoticons. Based on the prior posts in this thread, it obviously just falls on deaf ears. Speculation is one thing. The former is a completely different enchilada.
If you have evidence that supports your claim that something previously stated is false, present it and be on your way. Looking for validation for mentioning things you don't 'think' are true, will just annoy everyone. I've been wrong on facts a lot even when not dealing with speculation. I admit I was wrong and I move on. FaiKee is not the same animal. I've never seen him admit to being wrong about anything. If you're going into FaiKee's thread and mentioning how he's mistaken about something, don't expect him to say "gosh I was wrong, I'm so sorry" It's not in his nature. First of all, I have nothing against you murphy. I deeply respect your contributions (integration ISOs among others I'm sure) which are very valuable to the Windows Enthusiast community. Regarding others so-called "contributions" I would beg to differ. Your comment is incredibly uncalled for and non-sequitur to the discussion at hand. In other words, is the expectation for an equal standard to be applied equally, really evidence for being considered crazy? It's just mind boggling the same standard does not apply to everyone around here. And I've gone through this thread, I was blown away with how many people ticked off and confused over the misinformation that continues.
Negative, sir. Therapy does not imply that you are crazy. I've been to therapy and it helped a lot with my trying to control things that were beyond my control, hence the joke I made. I welcome you to MDL and I hope to have a friendship going on. I am just insisting that you should not look to FaiKee to admit being wrong about anything. That simply will never happen.
Fair enough. That is the problem with the internet. Sarcasm vs sincerity is hard to read. I already know he's stubborn, but it get on my nerves when people are stubborn & wrong.
