@NaiveUser: firstly, I think you deserve a big credit, it's just my thought: Brandon in his 1st remark refrained from mentioning the term "Threshold" because it was a MS internal name, then you exposed the MS guy's CV's on linkedin, it probably made Brandon to decide that it's OK to mention Threshold and confirm it's a Update(not a new Windows version). - In OP and the PCBeta guy's post, it says there will be Update3, then afterwards a "big Update" which is Threshold, and yes, it's like WinBlue with a preview, I don't care how the other medias say. My thought is, Brandon's remarks always says "around the period of Build", so maybe MS changed plans, and decide they should add a further Update(3) before releasing Threshold. Guess we just have to wait and see. - For MJF's first blood I mean she accused affirmatively "fake list is fake", the PCBeta guy risked his job to post it, it doesn't deserve such nonsense. - Yes, she's right, "Threshold is not Windows 8.1 Update 3".
My friend told me there is a "feature pack" in Update2, and in it there is a "nice pleasant surprise", I don't know what the hell would it be, maybe there's something related to your idea?
It seems everyone is having problems on when the new start button will come, 8.2,3 or Windows 9, do what I did and get back to Windows Vista, beautiful OS, and the most important thang, yee old start button, priceless
First there were win8 concepts, then there were win9 concepts, now.....TADA!! WinThreshold concepts!!
I hope in the next version of Windows (Update 2/3 or Win9) we can get access to the file that run the application we open it (In Modern UI or Taskbar). In this option we can tweak our mouse for its two or four additional buttons (left+right click on the wheel and left+right buttons on the side of the mouse) for each application.
