not just feedback. Microsoft said more serious about developing progress, 9 can't same as 8(and its offical beta)...
I agree with you Windows 9 can't be the same as Windows 8, but it is not so much different from it in many ways. The differences are indeed less significant, like return of the the Start button, remove the charm, have the tiles at the desktop, etc. These are not overly the kind of changes which make it different from previous version, Windows 8.1.
I come to the conclusion that if you r handing down the MB next year keep the 680 and install it then since that was what you wanted to do in the first place. 680 sli she must be a heck of a gamer . As far as realtek I find a usb dac much more versatile. In fact I run XLR now to the a/v pro. Oh and windows 9 will make your coffee in the morning I saw it posted on facebook . Yen is right! Regards
I like the charm bar since the secret corner works on the second monitor (lcd ht) to give you the time and date. They did fix the icons so they are closer to the corner you touch for larger monitors. But I could live without it since I only use settings and start once to change the user icon. Regards
@Shayne sorry for bothering you, but I just wanted to let you know, that it is possible to reply for everyone in one post..
some exotic gases get solid when outside temp cools down to room specs and we are on a straight way to see that matter quite soon
Me too. I don't really understand why people are so much against retaining the charm bar. I still don't know why Microsoft wants to remove it for the flimsy excuse of less activities on the use by many people. Indeed, it is one of those things that I personally find interesting about Windows 8. Do you mean the 'Project' under 'devices' at the charm bar? The second monitor things hasn't worked properly for me when projecting images to a large screen. Most often than none I use Widi incorporated into my ultrabook systems for that purpose. I haven't made use of it that much for sometime now though. I can do without the charm bar as well but the same thing can be said of the Start menu people are grossly demanding to be returned back in Windows 9. What really makes the settings in Windows not a routine feature used by people is because of familiarity with the desktop process of interacting with the system. It seems most people are still used to the old way of passing through the desktop Control Panel to forestall their activities than using the charm bar settings. If the desktop Control Panel process can be disabled the use for the charm bar settings would become something very useful to many people. I still stand on the need to keep the charm bar Windows 9 because of the aesthetic nature and it makes Windows have a different look from previous versions.
And whatz your point? I do believe I know how to multi quote and sorry was not trying to boost my post count, and you? see I can do it! I do not use project what I meant was the charm bar comes up on both screens and when highlighted gives you the time and date. Nice when you want to check after a movie on the big screen. I can not live without the start menu since it is quicker and more compact for desktop use therefore I use menu classic. If I want to run photoshop I do not go the huge 2"x2" desktop icons to run it, if I want regedit I click the start search not the charm bar. But there is a third party software that gives this to me so if M$ does it for others or not does not really matter. You must admit that for work flow if you right-click on an open area of the taskbar, and choose Toolbars \ New Toolbar from the menu. You should probably also unlock the taskbar at this point. Post this: %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch, into the location bar. Make sure that the location bar shows the full path, then choose the “Select Folder” button. Hide name ..... Turn on display small icons on the taskbar to save more real estate and drag your tasks to the right side beside your clock. Is a lot more compact than METRO ICONS Regards
