Did you ever try "Make text and other items larger or smaller" on the Screen Resolution page? ETA - I run my 23" monitors at 2048 x 1152 with the test size set to - Medium 125%
Yes, I do in some cases. I experience that problem mostly in Google Chrome until I download the beta 64 bit Google Chrome browser lately. Yet, the texts are still very small when I scaled to 3200 X 1800. I would have to use the zoom-in and zoom-out buttons to scale it to the right size for me. I am so glad Microsoft is finding solution to that problem in Windows 9.
That is the native resolution 3200x1800 for that then, So 1920x1080 should look huge hehe. I know all my users complain if I have anything under a 23" monitor set at 1920x1080. 23" is also my personal cut off limit before I lower resolutions.
Yes. You are correct. But texts are usually very small for me to read at that scaling. The 1920 X 1080 (Acer Aspire S7 11- inch screen)doesn't give me that very small texts because it is the recommended resolution, although, the texts usually change as the screen automatically scales itself when using the touchscreen to small texts, which are still readable..
I have tried that in the past. Sometimes, I mistakenly do that when trying to highlight texts(the CTRL key is close to the SHIFT key on my keyboard layout) with SHIFT + Touchpad and I would have to click on the Google Chrome wrench and Zoom to restore back to previous size . I try to use the advance settings of the 'Change the appearance of your display' to set appropriate text sizes for me but it doesn't affect the browsers.
This one at least has the notification, search, and virtual desktops icon in the right place. If I had to make a bet, I would say this one is real, unlike the one we saw earlier.
