Microsoft is not going to do away with it very soon until it finds something better. NTFS is still the best out there and it is better than the old FAT/32 system due to its ability to save larger files size. I hope to see ext4(for Linux) and exTFS(for Mac) or compatible file system included in it. That would make the file system in the upcoming Windows completely perfect.
cannot boot to a ReFS drive yet, but I could see MS moving to that eventually, or a derivative of that. But not right away
No leak today, my love has gone away The bottle stands forlorn, a symbol of the dawn No leak today, it seems a common sight But people passing by don't know the reason why How could they know just what this message means The end of my hopes, the end of all my dreams How could they know the palace there had been Behind the door where my love reigned as queen No leak today, it wasn't always so The company was gay, we'd turn night into day
Yes you can, I formatted a drive as REFS once. Then extracted the wim to it, Windows booted and install finished and worked.
