... well I have an account, that's not the issue. I just wonder if they want to present it with a pro/business angle only. Hyping Win8 to the "consumer" has been a big desaster/disappointment.

 

you should qualify for the 90 day extension, Paul. Unless you have been granted through VL program.

I renewed when it came to my notice that TechNet will close doors sometimes last year. The renewal period plus 90 days gave me expiration end of next months something around 10/25

 

My TechNet died in July...big help that is...

 

Who cares, we're power users, it is what we do.

 

AH .. of course!! It makes no sense to limit the download as for most of the people Technet is already dead
