It means Steve Ballmer's legacy is not going to be possible looking at the direction recent plan is headed. It's in his prerogative to make all Windows as close as possible into a unit. That's not what I am seeing in this case. I hope the new person in charge is going to find a common ground to make Windows as user-friendly as possible.

Well we can hope that China will develop an OS (they are pretty good at knock offs :D) that will not require M$ security to have all my personal information stored just waiting to be hacked. It is nice to see that easier access to programs than 2"x4" icons is being reviewed. What an intellectual idea. I will never go for a live account and my Hotmail account is now locked ..... someone else maybe using it, as if ..... please provide us with your first born to continue using your piece of cr@p email account. They have no need to invade peoples privacy or collect personal data on them but they continue to do so, this should help with there fight over the Asian market. NAS anyone!

I am not giving high hopes for this kind of rumor, at least for now, anyway, hope that they would at least post some pics with watermarks, it would answer a number of questions. :p

Windows 9 microsoft improved activation system versus piracy

Microsoft will improve its activation against piracy in Windows 9.

    I have read:

    Windows 9 new activation procedure

The procedure should be performed in this way (at least we understand well). After purchasing a license of Windows 9 download on the Microsoft Store an application will be required. It will record the details of the configuration (sent to Microsoft) and activate the OS for this device. In case of change of PC, it will deactivate the old license to reinstall on the new machine (download application ...) in the case of a single license.

According to the report, Microsoft intends to know the "Start" menu in Windows program 9. A colossal marketing campaign is being prepared to inform as many users as Windows and expect a mass migration to Windows 9. Microsoft could start talking about Windows 9 this fall.

To follow all the news of Windows 9 is here: Windows 9

    What do you think ?
