I look beyond the face of what is and the build number its the very detailed things like how crisp the tiles are the button lighting up with the menu you will not find a mock up that pristine.
The screenshot is legit. I've been shown builds before and after 9788 and they're all very similar. Either this dude has access to this build or he is very... VERY good at second guessing.
There's a chance it is a real screen, but like we say, without links the poster is just looking for credit for something they do not have Why would you join a forum to post a screenshot of an ISO that everyone is looking for if you had that ISO yourself? You wouldn't. It's just the normal "Look at me everyone" that we get time after time
Sorry, it wasn't directed at you, it was a general point of view. But although that is true, it's not the first time we've seen screenshots leaked without any links (possibly because they "can't" leak it yet or whatever) and doesn't necessarily mean it's fake. Could be, who knows, but we can just wait and see.
Nothing says real like having it in your own hands. I wont say real or not real, but turn around time is much faster with a screenshot vs an iso. How many here are able to even upload an iso of around 4GB within a day? week? year?? Add together the fact that an iso of this nature will need to be leaked carefully, If what is said to be true that MS has coded each iso to each entity that receives one. Besides, if again it holds true and this is early. I don't want it anyway. It most likely wouldn't even be close to final build enough to get any idea of what will come. BUT! I would get penis points from all my buddies cause I would haves it my precioussssssss
It's usually called "showing off". Say you've been given this ISO, and you were told that you can show it off but you CANNOT under any circumstances leak this ISO. You're going to show it off right?
The thing that bothers me about this 9788 is the compile date. Since when does MS compile a build on a holiday in the US?
All the time, you do realise it takes a rather long time for a build to compile successfully. The build compilation could have started on the Thursday, and finish on the Friday. Same principle as to why builds are compiled on the weekend. Takes time.
Trust you? Why? lol You can personally vouch for every single MS Employee with access to these builds? No, you can't. Plus I just showed how easy it is to fake the screens, I could make a new start menu with different tiles using my 8.1 install if I could be bothered
To be fair, your screenshot was just as bad as that Jen person on Twitter. DUH_ actually represents what current internal builds look like. Fake or not, it's what they currently look like. Identical. And yes okay fine, Employees may be leaking stuff but not openly.
