I'm surprised that maddog0266 would post such bs being a member with a highish post count....I wouldn't dream of it.

I don't know if the program still exists. I no longer have it bookmarked. ETA - looks like it still exists, my account is still there.
There are many private programs that exist, but hidden from the directory list (both feedback and non-feedback): access by invite keys only, which may or may not be pre-registered to the Microsoft Accounts of whoever requested accesses and/or signed appropriate NDA documents, in so that you cannot brute force the redemption form on the home page.
Very true. I recall participating in some and having no access to others. I participated in the 1st "download", sure this is not the proper name, of Windows. That was a great experience, taking screen shots for a member here, talking with MS people. It may have been Windows 8 initial install, not sure, I forget easily...
Yes that was to test the new way Windows 8 was rolled out, with esd downloads tailored to your computer's hardware and settings. I was in that program too. I think it was called something like "Windows install party" It was a 1-day 'event' where a bunch of testers got together and installed Windows 8, afterwards we had a chat with MS people about what went good, what failed, where they could improve stuff...
@arseny92, I was surpirsed to read your previous post about 6.3.9651.0.winbluephone_rtm.140521-1530 ; because before that I had the impression that win8.1 or its derivatives couldn't go beyond 9615 (2^4 bits reserved for SP's), and had done some ask around. Well, quite interesting but I couldn't say much of it. Seems there was actually no rule that win8.1/derivatives couldn't go beyond 9622(initial win9 build), update1/2/3 will be changes in 9600 delta, but 8.2(Threshold) will be a different story. MS could decide in the very near future if win8.2(Threshold) would be released as planned, ATM the probability is "quite high", but of course, plan could still be changed in the future ..... and if it is released, we could see interesting(surprisng) things.
FaiKee, don't confuse between builds from different branches and different milestones, even if they are a) recompilations of whichever root build to make room for a side branch off the one that gets split (e.g. 7106.0.winmain was actually a recompiled 7076.winmain, i,e. 7106's codebase was older than the followed 7077.0.winmain_win7rc) ; b) recompilations of derivative SKUs like phone, embedded etc. ; c) builds from different fbls, which don't have to be synchronized at all and can follow their own incrementing regardless of current winmain as for winbluephone_rtm there is a link to an archive that includes ntoskrnl.exe in the post (for those who may have misread it), yes, ntoskrnl by itself doesn't say much, but if we mass-list all files' versioninfo, then very most of them have the same build
Yup, I understand about that, actually winphone builds are mostly months behind win client builds, the thing that surprised me was it got a build no. 6.3.9651 (beyond 9622), before this I had thought it not to be possible, and I also thought winphone builds got their own numbering systems.
They have own numbering system as described in the earlier post linked above: the underlying OS is a derivative of Windows, which gets rebuilt (rebuilt as opposed to being recompiled) with phone-specific stuff as described
About this rebuilt(or recompile) thing, I remember zukona made some lengthy explanations in torrents.ru on the win7 builds you mentioned, missed that good chap.
I thought as much. I am only tagging along with the bandwagon, who are bent on compliments for the claim without anything tangible evidence to prove it.
